Experience

Technical	Experience of working with reputed textile manufacturing MNC. Hands-on experience in running manpower intensive work areas Experience of closely working with Planning and order servicing Experience in Industrial Engineering and ‘Lean’ concepts Understanding of best practices and implementation methodologies.
Managerial:	Should have excellent leadership and collaborative skills Should have analytical skills and systemic thought process Should possess good communication skills Should be self-motivated and result-oriented Should have techno-commercial acumen

Role Description

To supervise and control the overall Finishing operations which includes Washing, Boarding and Packing.
To co-ordinate with Planning, Distribution Centre, Customer Interfaces and Procurement to ensure timely deliveries as per shipment plan.
To plan issuance of socks as per production schedule and deliver outputs in line with rated capacities.
To monitor performance of man and machines to get optimum output with minimum wastage.
To ensure defined quality parameters in the output and get them First Time Right.
To impart training to supervisors, machine operators and workmen so that they can perform at the desired efficiency levels.
To ensure proper material flow throughout the process to avoid inventorization at any stage of the process.
To maintain proper hygiene, housekeeping and environment on the shop floor aided with standardization and visual controls.
To ensure documentation and review of critical performance parameters and firm up action plans for continuous improvement.
To motivate and engage the team of supervisors and operators for superior performance.
